Financial Energy Analyst (MA)

Bridge Energy Services (BES) is seeking a Financial Energy Analyst with educational or work experience in finance, economics, business, or energy. Financial Analyst will provide analytical excellence to internal and external stakeholders with the end goal to help clients reduce risk, cost, and time. Financial Analysts will also help drive growth and profitability by analyzing, reporting, consulting, and presenting financial products related to the energy industry.

Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support medium and large special projects
Manipulate energy data, construct, and present financial modeling and cashflows for various energy products and services
Advanced analytics and reporting of energy market, client usage patterns, and performance
Support the team with onboarding and existing client process that involves: development and execution of energy purchasing strategies, presenting energy solutions, goal setting, risk assessment, as well as presenting on the dynamics of the United States power markets, including wholesale and retail energy markets
Manage process for tracking and reporting qualitative and quantitative energy markets and preparing recurring market reports
Preparing materials for client meeting
Interface with clients, suppliers, and vendors
Assist with regulatory insights and market developments that impact client energy and renewable energy strategies to ensure proposed strategies are current with regulatory changes and market dynamics

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree, preferably in: finance, business, economics, engineering, math, computer science and information systems, energy, or other related undergraduate programs
Strong technical skills including spreadsheet, data analysis, and graphical presentation skills. Programming and database management is favorable but not required.
Attention to detail
Strong writing and verbal communications skills to translate technical information to a non-technical audience
Ability to prioritize and manage workload with flexibility

Other Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years of related professional experience
Financial, technical, energy, or engineering certifications
Coding experience
